Monte Onixeddu 

Beautiful and surrounded by nature, the crag of Mount Onixeddu has mainly pitches of resistance. Most of the routes is characterized by an overhanging start often on pipes and a final slab.

From Iglesias go to Carbonia (road SS 130), take the second exit for Gonnesa and return to the center of town. Shortly after leaving the SS 130 turn right in via Rossa, continue the main road which becomes a dirt road after a few kilometers. When you reach the ruins of the mine “Onixeddu” cross the football field, behind the door there are a road to the right and one to the left. Take the one to the left, just after you pass a clearing on the left (parking is possible) from which a second dirt road starts . Continue on the main road for a few hundred meters until you see the crag on the right. Here there are possible parkings in small spaces before and after the crag. From here go up briefly to the crag.
