Castilandia

The beautiful crag of Castilandia offers a good number of routes of low-medium difficulty. On the left you find gray slab with pockets and flakes, while on the right you find an orange wall overhang.

Approach:

At Domusnovas take the road to San Giovanni’s Cave and park near the San Giovanni’s church. Go back and take the road above the Bar “Pedr’e Cerbu” starting on the right side of the church.
After 200 meters turn on an upward trail on the right and after 10 minutes you reach some derelicted houses. Here you can see the sector of Castilandia on the right. Walk on the flat trail for about 3 minutes.
Alternatively, if the road is in good condition (but it’s not the best choice), you can go by car to the derelicted houses starting from Domusnovas. You should follow the signal for the Nuraghe Dom’es’Orcu. Here take the dirt road on the left of the Nuraghe (direction to Iglesias) and after 100 meters turn right in the dirt road that drives to the derelicted houses.
